strange "friends"

The frustration!! It's like talking to a 5 year old sometimes!! So she actually worries because she thinks it's rude to tell her roommate to buy her own food, yet she has no problem with leaving me by myself at the movie theater after watching 30 minutes of a movie and deciding that she doesn't like it and she's leaving to get her money back! Really? Come on! And why is it always me making all the compromises? Do you have any idea how many things I've done that I've completely hated, and how many movies I've watched where I was bored to tears?! But I did it anyway, didn't I? But whenever your turn comes to compromise and do something I like, you pull some stupid stunt like this one! And then you have the nerve to call me up afterwards and start chatting about all your stupid, childish problems for over an hour, while you know I'm not feeling well, and just pretend like nothing happened! I don't need these types of so-called friends bringing more drama into my life. I need to de-stress.

Writer's Block: A stroll down memory lane

I would rather lose all my old memories. I've actually fantasized on more than one ocassion on what it would be like to completely lose every memory I've had and start fresh. I would imagine it would be like rediscovering yourself and figuring out what it is that you really want from your life without the added pressure of obligations, pain, guilt, and many more factors surrounding you and your decisions.
Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?

Writer's Block: Upon further review

If you could go back and change one event in your life (or un-say one thing you wish you'd never said), what would you choose, and why?

I wouldn't have lied. I would've said yes.

It sucks to live with regrets, wondering what could've been.
What's the most important lesson your mom taught you?

Take care of yourself first:  handle your own business and don't just sit around waiting for a man to come in and take care of you. Learn to depend on yourself for the things you want.

Writer's Block: The winning ticket

What would be your first purchase if you won the lottery?

Well call me old, boring, or just plain practical, but the first thing I would do would be to pay off my 2 mortgages. Afterwards I would finally buy myself that new car I've been saving up for, for the past 3 years. It would be nice if I could use the rest to pay off my parents' mortgages as well so that they didn't have to worry about working so much to pay the bills, especially now that they're getting older.
